The year 2010 marks the 30th year of Dominic’s work in the beauty industry. An award winning, gold medalist in many acclaimed international and local beauty competitions, Dominic loves doing the ordinary extraordinarily well. His work as a platform artist for the global companies Redken and Zoto’s showcased his skill as a stylist with exceptional ability for cutting. Dominic has an insightful approach enabling him to visualize what is best for a client based on his or her hair type and profile. Dominic’s success as a stylist led him to open Salon By Dominic in September 1992, the way he envisioned salons to be. A warm, professional, atmosphere enables stylists under his supervision to share their learning experiences and promote self-growth. This further enhances every client’s experience at the Salon. Molding and training apprentices through the assistant program and mentoring students from local beauty enterprises is one of the highlights of Dominic’s work. Even though Dominic’s work has been featured on the cover of many publications, including Delaware Today, his philosophy is grounded in one simple statement: “I am in this business because I enjoy making people feel good about themselves.” His many clients, who have continued to make Salon By Dominic a trend-setting center of the beauty industry, evidence that.

Nina’s career in the beauty industry began in 1992 and her work has inspired 2 of her children to join her in this creative career. Working under Dominic, Nina sharpened her skills in cutting, coloring, and straightening hair. Her infectious sense of humor relaxes clients and enables Nina to focus on their requests. She truly enjoys formulating the precise color and cut that will maximize a client’s beauty. Not only is Michele popular with Salon By Dominic’s clients, she is famous in the theatre world, having worked with the Delaware Theatre Company on intricate productions such as Amadeus.

Rachel

Rachel has been in the hair industry since 1999. In addition to providing clients with a wide range of styles and colors, Rachel is an extension expert, style bridal and special occasion up-sweeps, and is an expert in working with ethnic hair. Her talent for teaching goes beyond working with apprentices and junior stylists—she is renowned for teaching her clients how to bring home the styles they get at Salon By Dominic. In addition to teaching, Rachel has worked for Beauty Underground for New York Fashion Week, styling hair with international stylist Charlie Price and Portuguese designer Kathy Ximara. Additionally as a make-up artist, Rachel creates looks that suit any occasion, from the most traditional look to the most outrageous. Rachel can help anyone with the most conservative style to the most extreme style to realize his or her dream look.

Alison graduated from Brandywine Beauty Academy in 1987. She then began a career at Michael Christopher’s in Wilmington, DE. Alison assisted Dominic for two and a half years and went on to become a stylist and manager of Michael Christopher in Pike Creek. In 2002 Alison opened Trilogy Salon & Day Spa which she sold and eventually returned to work for Salon by Dominic in 2017.

Using current trends as a foundation, I enjoy developing a look that compliments a person's natural features and personality." During her annual visits to Europe, Agata brings a bit of that "European style" back with her and shares those fashionable trends with everyone.

After spending some time in New York City, working in the editorial and retail industry for the past 7 years, Alexis has returned to her first love with a refreshed passion for hair and connecting with people.
